State Pension Not In Payment

If your State Pension Forecast shows that you have a Protected Payment element then you will need to provide a Cash Equivalent Value of that Protected Payment element.

The Cash Equivalent Value is obtained by submitting Form BR20 to the Department for Work and Pensions.

If your State Pension Forecast does not show a Protected Payment element then there is no need to submit Form BR20.

  • In Part 2 give the date that the divorce proceedings started as the current date
  • In Part 2 indicate that your divorce is NOT subject to Scottish Law
